Who are my target audience?
My target audience are potential empolyers and high school seniors that are graduating high school.
How does the design support the audience?
It shows what past showcase what to expected at this years showcase.
What is the message?
For employer: To come and explore what are students are creating. To see are student talents.
For high school graduating: To find a career path that enjoy and to explore how to get into a career path that they have a passion for.
How does the design support the message?
On the homepage, I let them know the hard work that the past students have worked on. The program page shows on from different program. On the contact page, is where anyone that is looking for more info about a specific program.
What is the goal?
For employer: To employ the upcoming graduates.
For high school graduating: To let them know the different program and different requirements for the programs.
How does the design support the goals?
On the program page, I enter each links, and it takes them to different showcase and you can link to different students work on their webpages.
What are my CTAs and how to support the CTAs?
On my homepage, I have a link to read more underneath every images. On programs, I have link to explore design, explore photography, explore digital media, explore web development. On Contact, I have map to the location, and a form for them to fill out for message. On archive, it has different links to different years to look at different peoples websites.
Design Summary
- LAYOUT: I use basic pattern layout.
- COLORS: I thought light blue to function with the different shades of blue in the NWTC logo. The color that I have chosen for my <h1> was from an Mosaic design that I have seen in the past.
- TYPOGRAPHY: This alway reminds of classic Star Trek.
